Music App Backend Developer

Music App, Inc is looking for a full time mid to senior level Backend Python Developer to work on the next generation of music education. As a Backend Python Developer, you will leverage your skills in Python, Django, and SQL to build out a robust, secure, and scalable API for the Clefer Piano music learning app, and ideally have skills in

JavaScript/React.js to build and maintain internal web-based content management tools. You will be working closely with a product team that includes content specialists,

UI/UX designers, iOS developers, and fellow backend and full stack developers to determine the best approaches to develop new features and maintain systems. Are you a team player and do you share our love for music, don’t wait any longer and contact us!

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, anti-fragile, and scalable APIs to be consumed by web and mobile applications
  • Monitor, prioritize and resolve issues that may arise with our online service
  • Collaborate with product team members to solve problems in a way that improves the software environment as a whole
  • Build and maintain robust testing infrastructure to prevent errors and regressions before they are deployed

Required:

  • Significant experience in building APIs as per modern paradigms such as view-oriented APIs, REST APIs, and GraphQL
  • Significant experience with Python, especially Django, and SQL databases like

Postgres and MySQL

  • Experience with optimization such as with Elasticsearch and caching
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD, CloudWatch
  • Ideal: Experience in modern web technologies like Angular, React, and Vue

You will be recruited to work out of our Dutch office to join our development team.

Salary: €6,000.00 - €6,500.00 per month
